The most hated feature if any on iOS is the autocorrect, which if enabled makes typing a lot more difficult on touchscreen. The iOS autocorrect is designed to make typing fast and easy, but with ever increasing words invented by population has made the feature so annoying that most of us disable it on the first day.
However, if you can teach the autocorrect new words, then it will improve your typing speed drastically. Actually, when you’re typing with iOS autocorrect enabled, it replaces words not found in its own dictionary with something close. Apple has included option to teach the feature new words, so that in future it does not confuse with anything else.
The easiest way to teach your iOS device new words is by simply opening the Safari browser and type the word in the smart search field. The safari once checks the new word, it actually shares it with whole iOS and will stop correcting the word in autocorrect mode. The other technique is by going to the iPhone settings>General>Keyboards>Shortcuts and add the word to the list. However, Safari trick is quicker in comparison.
